IT’S CRUCIAL THAT BRANDS UPDATE THEMSELVES GIVEN THE CONSTANT CHANGES IN THE MARKET, TECHNOLOGY, AND CONSUMERS. LYSOL NEEDED A NEW, MORE YOUTHFUL IMAGE IN ORDER TO REACH AN EMERGENT TARGET AUDIENCE COMPRISED OF MILLENNIAL MOMS.

CHALLENGE

REDESIGN AN ICONIC BRAND WITHOUT JEOPARDIZING THE EQUITY THAT IMAGE BRINGS TO THE COMPANY.

RESULTS

OUR NEW PACKAGING PROPOSAL ACHIEVED OUR GOAL. WE REFRESHED THE PRODUCT IMAGE WITHOUT MAKING ANY CHANGES TO THE LOGO. ORIGINALLY, THE PRODUCTS WITH THE NEW PACKAGING WERE ONLY MEANT TO BE A ONE-TIME RELEASE AT WALMART, BUT GIVEN THE SUCCESS OF THE NEW DESIGN, A ROLL-OUT WAS MADE FOR ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS IN ALL SALES CHANNELS AND ACROSS THE WORLD. EACH NEW FRAGRANCE WAS ADDED TO THE COLLECTION IN A DIFFERENT SHADE, FILLING THE SHELVES BEARING THE BRAND WITH AN APPEALING ARRAY OF COLOR. WE CAN PROUDLY SAY WE CONTRIBUTED TO ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS RECKITT HAS EVER HAD, AS PROVEN BY LYSOL’S RECENT SALES THAT HAVE SURPASSED ALL EXPECTATIONS.
